Padelkin
Our mission

We're padel players from across the US, building the room we wished existed.

So no padel player has to figure this sport out alone.

How this started

We hit the same walls in every city.

Most US padel scenes are local. Miami doesn't talk to NYC. NYC doesn't talk to LA. And most padel media is European, written for people who already know what a vibora is.

We're a small group of players who got hooked on this sport in different cities, then realized we were all figuring out the same things alone. Where to play. What gear actually matters. Who's at our level.

Padelkin is the room we wished existed when we first picked up a racket. Beginner-welcoming. Useful before it's cool.

What we make

Three things, every week.

The Drop lands every Sunday. The reel of the week, a court worth knowing, gear we'd actually send a friend.

The community is where padelkins find partners, ask gear questions, and figure this sport out between newsletters.

Court spotlights cover every US padel court we can map, each one vetted by a player who's actually been.

Who we serve

Three groups. One room.

For the community

A room to find your people, partners at your level, and the answers we wish someone had given us when we started.

For clubs

Players share what they find at their clubs, what's working, what's off, what's worth the drive. We aggregate the honest signal. No pay-to-play coverage.

For coaches & pros

A clinic to share experience and wisdom with the community. No gatekeeping.

How we run

Lean. Opinionated. Allergic to BS.

  1. 01

We don't sell sponsor reads we wouldn't recommend.

If we link gear, it's because we'd send it to a friend.

  2. 02

    We don't chase algorithms.

We chase the reel that made us re-rack.

  3. 03

We don't pretend Padelkin is bigger than it is.

The first 50 members are shaping what this becomes. When we get it wrong, we fix it in public.

  4. 04

Honest, no-BS, friendly, on the court and in the chat.

And a little bit competitive, because that's how everyone gets better.

Who's behind this

Players, not a media company.

We're a small group of padel players from across the US who got hooked on this sport in different cities, hit the same walls trying to figure it out, and started Padelkin to lower those walls for the next wave of players.

We've all dropped too much on the wrong racket. We've all driven across town for a court that turned out to be a tennis conversion. We've all stood at the back wondering why everyone else knew where to stand.

Padelkin is the room that would have saved us a year of that, built by the people who lived it. We're keeping it lean and member-first until it works.

Padelkin, started in Long Island, NY.
