• What is padel?

• How is padel different from pickleball or tennis?

  Padel courts have walls (pickleball and tennis don't), the ball is similar to a tennis ball but slightly depressurized, and the racket has no strings. Compared to pickleball: longer points, more lateral movement, harder to dink your way out of trouble. Compared to tennis: smaller court, no serving stress, way more forgiving for beginners. • Where can I play padel near me?

  Use the search at the top of the page, or scroll down to browse by state. Padelkin tracks every operating US padel club we can verify, plus the ones with announced openings.

• How much does it cost to play?

  Most US clubs charge $40–90 per court per hour, often split 4 ways between the doubles team. Equipment rental (rackets + balls) is usually $5–10. Lessons run $50–100/hr. Each court page lists the price range when the club publishes it.

• What gear do I need to start?

  A padel racket, padel balls, and court shoes. Most clubs rent rackets for $5–10 if you're still figuring out which one fits your hand and play style. You don't need to own gear to play your first ten times.

• Are these courts actually verified?

  Yes. We reach out to clubs, sometimes collaborate, and play at some of them ourselves. Then we back every entry by cross-referencing multiple sources (USPA, padel.us, club websites, Playtomic, PlayByPoint, Google Business, Yelp). When sources disagree, we flag it in the notes and verify directly when we can. Each court shows when it was last verified, and the directory-wide totals live on our US padel statistics page.

• Why is Padelkin different from other padel directories?

  Because we play here too. Most directories scrape; we cross-check. We're out playing at these clubs every week, so when a court closes, hours shift, or a new amenity opens, it gets flagged fast.
